Description
Available For Sale or Rental: Used Physio-Control Lifepak 500 AED
The features and ease of configuration make the Lifepak 500 very user-friendly. Its technology is why it is a proven life-saver. Like all AEDs, this one talks you through the rescue. But that’s just the beginning. It also features an LCD display so you can read the instructional prompts if background noise makes hearing them difficult.
The device incorporates Physio-Control’s escalating biphasic electrical waveform. This means the AED will increase its energy output when the patient’s situation requires it. (Every Lifepak AED has this feature.) The AED self tests regularly and has a readiness indicator displaying the machine’s status. You do not have to turn the AED “on” or do anything else to determine if it’s ready to use.
The Physio-Control Lifepak 500 offers choices in configuration to more readily enable a successful rescue. For example, depending on the method of CPR you’ve been taught, you can program the equipment to prompt for pulse checks. You can alter the timing of CPR interval. Medical professionals can also activate an asystole detector.
A unique device ID can be electronically assigned to the Lifepak 500, making the placement of labels, stickers, or magic marker identifiers on your AED unnecessary. You can accomplish this without purchasing reconfiguration software packages or computer peripherals. The only software option you may want to consider is capability to download post-event patient data from the device if needed.
The Physio-Control Lifepak 500 is a unique “public access” style AEDs with a rechargeable battery option. And it uses standard Physio-Control QUIK-COMBO or pre-connected REDI-PAK electrodes.
