The module Alaris pump is designed for the delivery of fluids, medications, blood and blood products using continuous or intermittent supply for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. Infusion delivery may occur through clinically acceptable routes of administration (eg, intravenous, intraarterial, subcutaneous, epidural, irrigation of fluid enteral or spaces). It is the only high-volume pump available today that can help protect all types of infusion, including continuous and intermittent delivery. Doctors can connect up to four pump modules to a single Point of Care (PC) unit allowing four different infusions. Pump modules can be connected to either side of the PC unit to create the desired configuration.
